Diego has been sitting on a thought for a while now: How did Five adjust to his identity so well? I mean, he knows that the kid read Vanya’s book. And she had the courtesy to at least use his name and pronouns in the godforsaken thing. But he must’ve looked like a complete stranger - an imposter. He was 13, forced to see his dead, transitioned sibling. Five hasn’t once slipped up on his name or pronouns since he’s been back.

A Shadowhunter Chronicles universe in which the angels--and, in turn, the Nephilim--are 777% more eldritch. The Nephilim, also known as monstrophagi (aka monster eaters) eat demons instead of kill them.
This universe is also a soulmate universe, where every individual has 'souldreams' that reveal the face of their soulmate.

Obi-Wan sighs, and closes his eyes, swallowing down the sudden urge to violently empty the meagre contents of his stomach. He can't remember when he last ate, or slept, for that matter - sometime after he got back to the Negotiator? - and now. This.
He's also fending off a panic attack, but that's beside the point. He has one of those every day, even though this one might be marginally less manageable than the rest.
Considering, well, his old Master has travelled forwards in time, apparently, and of all the places he had to end up in, it was on the bridge of the Negotiator, right in front of Cody's nose, and his wonderful, amazing, scarily competent commander immediately stunned Qui-Gon and. That had been that.
Except not. At all.
OR: the one where Qui-Gon comes back to haunt everyone in flesh and blood; Cody is tired, angry, and emotionally constipated - and Obi-Wan just wants a hug.
