It’s the sad truth that Dream never got out much. He was there to play soccer, and that’s what he stuck with. There wasn’t much socializing outside of his team or his classes, and even though he had to go into the City for school, he’d certainly never really explored Philly. He shrugs, “School I guess. Pennsylvania is like the one state I keep fucking up at Geoguessr too.”
Hopping back up to his feet, George gives him a long, unreadable look, “There’s some cool stuff out here. Geoguessr, huh? Nerd.”

With a heavy sigh, George shook his head, but he felt himself give in. Running a hand through his hair, he finally answered, “Fine. But I’m not dropping out of school.”
“Yes!” Sapnap cheered.
Dream just laughed quietly, speaking softer than Sapnap, “That’s fine, George.”
Sapnap, still excited, yelled down the line, “Dream team!”
“Dream team,” George repeated, a little quieter, but he couldn’t stop the smile splitting across his cheeks.
Great things, he reminded himself. Trust Dream because he’s going to do great things. Yeah, he could do that.

When George gets to Florida, he has a hard time adjusting to all the touching.This is what they do. They speak in jokes and memes and let their true thoughts bleed through into the cracks that only they can read. Like sand in dusty corners, hidden but intrusive. George knows the space between Dream's words, the things he doesn't say. He can hear the change in pitch from hours and hours of practice. He's had days of calls, nights of Dream's voice floating to him across an ocean and through a speaker until George has become fluent in a language that doesn't have a name.
