For now, there are sartorial tableaux to be arranged. Hannibal retrieves the suits one by one: all single-breasted, all tapered at the waist, with unstructured shoulders. Unmistakably Italian and ideal for a certain type of build: slim, made to move quickly, with dangerous grace.

Will cocked his head with a smile. Despite his beard, which was growing thicker now to hide the scar on his cheek, he looked boyish, guileless, when he smiled up at Hannibal like that. “Come on. It’s our first Christmas together. Don’t you want to celebrate?”
(Hannibal and Will get a Christmas tree, decorate it, and finally resolve their sexual tension.)
