A feminine individual with shoulder-length hair in a half-up hairstyle and side-swept bangs, with a green headkerchief. I'm wearing a green shirt over a white tshirt with a genderqueer pin and a pair of white headphones. The bi flag is behind me

    Summary

When Kravitz was in 6th grade his school set up a pen pal program, matching them with students who spoke Elvish. It was a simple program, they would write their pen pals letters in elvish as practice, and their pen pals would write them back in common. None of the pairings had lasted until the next year when it wasn't a requirement anymore.

None, except for his and Barry's. They'd been matched up with siblings, a pair of twins.

That had been ten years ago, and Taako and Lup had never stopped writing them. Him and Barry had never stopped responding. He could say with certainty that Taako and Lup were their best friends. So when they mention possibly getting kicked out of their family's home again it's not hard to throw out an invite for the two to come visit some time, if they ever need a place to stay.

Kravitz just wasn't expecting a knock on his door as soon as he put the letter in the mailbox.

    Summary

Taako didn't know what the fuck to think when he woke up to find a crib just sitting in his caravan one morning. He sure as fuck didn't know what to think of the little half-elf kid sleeping inside of it. The note that was left didn't do much to answer his questions, instead just assuring him that this wasn't a permanent thing. Claiming that he'd only have to watch the kid for a few months. There was no name for who had left it, but apparently the kid was called Angus.

The letter ended up holding true, and Taako found himself thrust into a particularly strange part of his life. Every year or so Angus would show up, staying from anywhere from weeks to months at a time. Taako never heard who left him or who came to pick him up, and he should probably be more weirded out by that than he was.

Angus was a good kid though, so Taako wasn't going to complain that much.

    Summary

Lup and Taako never had a lot of friends growing up. Hard to keep friends when you never stayed in the same place for longer than a year or so. At some point they almost stopped trying entirely. Almost. There was one exception.

Barry had been that exception. The one person who continued to reach other to them as they got older, even after moving away. He'd been Lup's best friend since they were twelve years old, and now that they were finally all going to the same college they could actually see each other again. It was supposed to be perfect.

Except at some point Lup had fallen in love with Barry while she wasn't looking. Even that wouldn't have been so bad, she could have just ignored that for fifty years and then eventually died. It was real fucking hard to ignore that when snowed in with Barry over winter break though, but damn if she wasn't going to try.

    Summary

Taako needed some extra cash, and tutoring was a pretty low stress job that fit his schedule. It wasn't even hard, he just met with a kid a couple times a week and helped with their homework and whatever. It was a pretty good job, and the kid he landed with wasn't half bad. Taako didn't like kids, but he guessed Agnes or Angus or whatever was alright.

He didn't plan on getting attached to the job though. Or to Angus.

Or to Angus's really hot single dad.
