Tassadar was an Executor; revered, idolized and a young prodigy among the protoss. His life seemed set; his purpose, resolute. All until the day he came upon the zerg. The zerg changed them all. Where the terrans were seen as nothing but their opposite, their enemy, a band of them had become his allies. He had disobeyed a direct order of genocide in favour of trying to help save what terrans remained on Mar Sara. And for Tassadar, the biggest surprise of all was when he stood before a Dark Templar, and listened. They came to blows, but Zeratul would not fight back. In time they developed respect, then alliance, trust, friendship, and eventually, more than either would ever have believed. Now Tassadar and Zeratul are returning home to Aiur to face the Conclave, their judgement, and to try and save Aiur from the unforgiving zerg.

All the official advice had strongly suggested travelling by wyvern to Almyra, and Hubert had refused every recommendation with an icy politeness that brooked no argument. He had been at peace with this decision all the way through the rolling hills of Adrestia and the lowlands of central Leicester, even as the days had dragged by and Fódlan’s Throat still seemed no closer than it had upon leaving Enbarr. But now they have rattled into the steep slopes of Goneril, shaken their way up to the imposing walls of the Locket and then finally, finally lurched their way across the Almyran border, Hubert can admit that he is feeling somewhat… agitated.
He has his reasons. Dozens of them, in fact, stored securely away in sigil-sealed boxes. More still burned after reading, though the effect of their words lingered far longer than the smell of the smoke. Some written in code, some slipped among dry trade documents, some hidden within compartments of envelopes. All with the looping hand of the King of Almyra upon them.

Much has been left unsaid between Thancred and Urianger since their return from the First. This cannot continue for long. After all, Urianger has promised himself that when it comes to the matters of the heart, he will hold no more secrets.
“Never mind the fact that mine own body is not one that Thancred wouldst find pleasing,” Urianger says even as he tries to resist the spell making him speak. “His preference lies firmly with those of the feminine persuasion and there is naught I can do to change that.”
“Well, of course you can change that,” Uin Nee says with a laugh that chills Urianger to his very core. The air around her shimmering with gathering magic as she points directly at him. “You silly mortals, you just need to be more creative with your thinking!”
Oh, no. Is all that Urianger has the time to think before a very powerful spell hits him with all the force of a hammer to the head.

[G'raha x Adehn (Male, Viera Warrior of Light) FFXIV Shadowbringers Spoilers, EndWalker Spoilers.]
G'raha eyes their new company and scoots his chair a little closer to the viera. Close enough that Adehn could feel the warmth his body gave off, his adventuring outfit brushing up against Adehn as the redhead as he leaned close to speak, "Is your game over? I thought we might play a game of our own."
Adehn, for a mercy, does not react as Raha slips his chilly fingers over his knee to rest on the inside of his thigh.
"A game, huh?" Adehn says, meeting those red eyes with a quirk of his brow.
The smirk that crosses G'raha's lips very much reminds Adehn of that mischief making shite of a miqo'te he had met what seemed like so long ago now. The prick that had interfered in his quest, stole his spoils and led him on a chase just to prove Adehn's worth.
He was fortunate that Adehn hadn't wrung that pretty little neck or punched his boyishly handsome face.
"You had such handsome company," the miqo'te remarks. "I felt it necessary that I recapture your attention before you fell in love."
