Summary
“I consider it for a moment. I could consider it for a lot of moments, if left unchecked. Not just the kiss in the hall outside the auditorium, but the ones in the parking lot afterward and at the cast party and on the street outside after the cast party. Gideon with his cheeks flushed and his eyes bright, close enough that he was blurry, saying I like you, you know. Like so much, so much, so much—each one punctuated by a kiss to a different place.”
Claudia + Gideon + the kisses so cruelly alluded to in the last chapter — an epilogue of pure fluff for the cutest YA couple to ever do it. (Everyone go read Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills!!! Run don’t walk!)

Summary
“Some people on the internet have pointed out the way you look at him when you’re performing. Molina heart eyes, they call it.”
“It’s not that different from the way I look at him when we’re not singing.” Luke turns to face her sharply and the host raises an eyebrow. Shit.
The band has done a million morning talk show interviews in the press tour for their first album, so even though Julie still gets nervous, she figures she knows what to expect. But then the host decides to discuss Luke being a Hot Guitar Sex God, which is… new. And maybe she gets a little flustered. And maybe she sorta confesses her crush on live television. And then they have to perform. So.
AU where everyone lives, but the band’s performance of “Edge of Great” has just as much tension as canon.

Summary
Enjolras swallowed. "I didn't know he had tattoos on his back."
"Yeah," said Joly, shrugging. "I mean, he lives with me and before about noon, he's allergic to shirts—"
"Why—" said Enjolras weakly.
"I always figured he had a bad shirt experience," Joly offered. "Shirts killed his family, or his first dog got hit by a truck full of shirts."
Enjolras shook his head. His face was a little flushed.
"Ooh, are you experiencing symptoms?" said Joly, brightening. "What's your pulse doing? Are you breathing normally? How do your glands feel?"
Inspired in part by tumblr user feferi's post here, specifically: "i am in love with the idea that enjolras is so baffled by his own emotions towards grantaire that he legitimately cannot tell if he has heartburn or stomach butterflies"
Modern AU. Joly is a gentleman, a scholar, a med student—and, when need be, a matchmaker. And oh, the need is definitely being.

Bookmarker's Notes
I can’t imagine how this never got bookmarked?? But while I indulge this little Les Mis kick that I’m apparently on, let me add it to its rightful place on my shelf of favorites for its delightful portrayal of anxious matchmaker Joly
And for this line which I probably found abstractly funny on first read and now find immensely relatable: He didn’t feel high, just relaxed and expansive, fully awake to the possibilities of the universe. “Do you have any cheese?” said Joly. Then he took a nap.

Amis House might not be the biggest student co-op, or the fanciest, but it's got something all its own. Specifically, smoke damage on the kitchen ceiling from that time Courfeyrac lit a political pamphlet on fire.

Summary
“I’m okay,” Nick’s learned to say in his sleep. Shake it off. Down a coffee. He’s okay. He’s Nick Nelson.
But Charlie has laid beside Nick in bed and knows the way his elbows move when he dreams. Charlie has held Nick’s hand when it was bleeding at the knuckles and has kissed him in the pouring winter rain and has seen Nick, really seen him, from that very first day in form, better than Nick’s ever been able to see himself.
The, “I’m okay,” is at the tip of Nick’s tongue. He swallows it back.
“I’m trying to be,” he says instead, as honest an answer as he can stomach, then a little more: “this helps. You help.”
OR, Nick's first year of uni goes... well, it goes. It takes a while to figure out he's not alone.
