Summary
This is literally a rewrite of the entire Golden Deer route with a focus on Claude/ f!Byleth and some character development based on what I wish I'd seen, plus a further-developed ending. If you didn't like Claude and Byleth's S support, maybe this will help. Chapters vary widely in length. Also, it's Fire Emblem, so ready yourself for gratuitous dialogue, and yes I did take directly from the game for a lot of it. Reeeeally minor editing done, so apologies for any typos or weird time skips etc.

Inspired by an idea on Tumblr sent to me by an anon; Princess Zelda is a Gerudo. So is Calamity Ganon. What does this mean for the destiny of Hyrule?
I did something different this time around and finished the fic entirely before I'm publishing it. It's complete at fourteen chapters. I'll upload one chapter every day for two weeks, so please enjoy!
