Summary
The room slowly fills with the manifestations of Namjoon’s dreams, as Jimin watches with rapt attention. They don’t flow from Namjoon’s head, as Jimin thought they might. They just start appearing. Little translucent sprites of all sorts of colors float lazily through the air. Some just shift from not-existing one second to existing the next, like someone turned on a switch and suddenly they were there.
Jimin draws in a deep breath, and feels his chest tighten. “Dream me the world, Namjoon,” he whispers. “I want to see it all.”

There are flowers growing on Namjoon’s arm.
They aren’t real flowers, of course. That would be absurd. Impossible. Ridiculous. But Namjoon spends most of his lecture on Kant watching the garden of ink bloom on his skin, beginning at his pinkie and spreading across his wrist, trickling down to his elbow, curling up and around his bicep and out of sight under the sleeve of his shirt. Irises and peonies and roses and sunflowers.
The girl who’s sitting beside him is staring, and when caught, gives Namjoon a bright-eyed grin before glancing back to the board. Namjoon spots a faded smiley face inked into the skin of her thumb, what looks to be a grocery list scrawled over the back of her hand. Notes or reminders from her soulmate maybe.
Soulmates.

There’s—it’s like a glare. A glare of darkness, like spots dotting his vision, and he can’t make out the figure’s face. They’re wearing a pair of black boots and a black jumpsuit, but he can’t see the face. It’s been scratched out of existence. Panic bubbles up Jeongguk’s throat, choking out the words he wants to speak, and his legs can’t decide whether they want to move him forward or backwards, so they do neither. His knees give out on him, but he continues to stare, desperately trying to make out the face. He can’t. He can’t see. Darkness creeps in.
The figure continues to linger, unmoving.

“So you’re either the most stupid alpha I’ve ever met or just genuinely trusting of people. Which is also naive and foolish.” He cocks an eyebrow and tilts his head back and Yunho should probably feel insulted but he’s too busy staring at the man’s bare neck. He swallows and tears his eyes away.
