    Hello again!! :)

    There is a scene in Private Practice where Addison tells her therapist that she hates surprises. This started off as a fluffy birthday fic and slowly developed into an angsty stream of consciousness driven love story of sorts. I've been slowly adding to this and it's been in my notes app for so long that finally posting it feels like sending my child off to college. which reminds me I have three essays due soon fuck,,, but chile lemme write about two bi disasters first <3 Also, I tried my best to go over any mistakes but I'm tired af and I'm sorry if you find any.

    Regardless, I had so much fun with this one and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! ♡

    P.S. Also, Addison's house in the story is the same as her house in Private Practice except it's in Seattle instead of Malibu. I fuckin love that place man. Also, I have no idea how Seattle real estate or housing works so just go with it lol.

    Meddison Soulmate AU |

    Soul marks are a rarity, not an impossibility. Well, to put it more accurately, they're so rare that it's socially acceptable to mock its believers. Due to how rare this phenomenon is, scientists have had trouble looking for empirical evidence and explanation for its existence and many scientists have even dismissed it. What happens when two fated individuals meet in the most unconventional time?

    Or the one where your eyes glows when you're looking directly at your soulmate's eyes but there are restrictions (read notes for more details)

    So, I haven't seen much diversity in meddison fics so I thought it'd be fun to spice it up with some magic.

    Soul marks: has a countdown of how many times it can occur. Once you meet your soulmate for the first time, it will 100% occur but everything after that will happen at random times until you hit the 30 mark, then your eyes will stop glowing when looking at ur soulmates eyes altogether. By then, we hope to have you and your soulmate together at last. Idk if I explained that well enough just ask me questions in the comments lol.

    So this is completely AU, I tried to make the setting as close to what happens on the show as possible and characters may be a bit OOC but I digress, I hope you enjoy!

    Sidenote: this is written to be a one shot for now but I might continue if there's any interest in my part and in your part.
