Summary
Bellamy Blake is on his third arrest and facing juvenile detention, not to mention more of those god-awful kleptomania support groups. John Murphy is blind, stuck living with the Jahas, and in desperate need of an outlet for his snowballing anger. Bellamy owes Arkadia fifty hours of community service, and the Franco High cross-country team won't have Murphy without a guide that can keep up with him.
Everyone gets what they want— if Bellamy and Murphy can learn to keep pace with one another.

A wormhole strands Murphy and Bellamy alone in the universe, and every planet they travel to seems intent on manufacturing romantic clichés, all designed to force the two voyagers together. Murphy suspects they've died and gone to Hell, and Bellamy just wants to put one foot in front of the other.

Summary
Murphy finds himself in need of holiday plans to appease his overbearing best friend, whereas Bellamy finds himself in need of a fake boyfriend to appease his overbearing family. It seems like it's going to work perfectly - until it doesn't.

Summary
M will be the first to admit that his memories from Before are pretty patchy, but he definitely remembers his mom telling him he was worthless, that he was stupid, that he was good for nothing, and good at nothing.
So far that checks out: he was so crap at staying alive that he died, so crap at staying dead that he came back, and so crap at being undead that he’s now not-so-accidentally harbouring a bleeding, breathing, living human being in the broken down Build-A-Bear Workshop he’s claimed as his own personal lair. M doesn’t know why, but he doesn’t really fancy the idea of eating Bellamy’s brains.
The hordes of undead just outside the door have no such moral qualms.

Summary
John Murphy is a demigod who has been alive for the past two millennia, traveling to the ends of the earth on a quest to gather a select bunch of magical artifacts from the gods themselves in order to cast a spell he isn't sure he's capable of casting. Oh, and the only man he's ever loved has been cursed to hunt him down for all eternity until they both end up dead. Should be simple, right?

Summary
It makes sense, of course, when Murphy thinks about it, but he hadn't realised it before now: Bellamy might have won the Games, but he hasn't escaped them. He won't ever escape them. None of them will.
