“Well, there's the fact that I thought this date was between you and me, not between you and the wall,” Hitoshi says with a smirk.
“I'm sorry, what can I say, Shinsou? I was just swept off my feet,” Kaminari counters.
“Do I have to fight the wall for your honor?”
“It sounded like you already did, from that twack I heard when you came over.”
“Fuck you,” he says with a smile.

Ochako and Tsuyu finally go on their trip to the spinning park.
"The wind rushes past, and Tsuyu has to grasp her hat to keep it from flying off her head. Her dress billows out behind her. She looks like an old impressionist painting, and Ochako almost forgets that they’re on a train platform and not wandering a cliff face somewhere. It's absolute homophobia that she doesn't have time to whip out her phone and snap a picture, so she tries to construct as much of a mental image as she can before they have to board: the yellow of her dress, the hand resting on her hat, the faraway look in her eyes before they wander back to Ochako’s own."

“So what's wrong?” Kaminari casually blurts. Hitoshi's head snaps up.
“What do you mean?” he says cautiously, eyes scanning Kaminari's face for any sign of bad intention. Instead they just catch on the tiny dots brushing his cheek that appear to be pale freckles. He is way too close.
“Well you don't seem to be enjoying it very much,” he says, pep still evident in his voice.
“I've never had much of a green thumb,” he replies bitterly, stabbing the dirt with the trowel, “kill everything I touch: plants, flowers,...” every relationship I've ever had.
“I could help you if you want!” he volunteers.

Hitoshi hates gardening with a passion. But he finds himself hating it a lot less than he expected. He suspects it has to do with the bright ray of sunshine who volunteers to help him. But then again, that's just a theory.
