Summary
A shitty public toilet in the back of a rundown pub was maybe not the romantic place (or hygienic but who's thinking about that) for an encounter with the man he loved. But hey, they were together. He didn't exactly ever take Steve as a particularly daring person (in the sexual sense at least, Steve was kind of crazy in a 'he would willingly throw himself in front of a car if it meant saving somebody'), but apparently, he was wrong because - fuck.

Summary
Books were good, but the internet was an exhaustive archive of different signs and fingerspelling and everything he needed to know. His hearing aids helped, but only in amplifying what little he had left of his hearing (which really was not a lot, maybe every two words he could hear), but with sign language, he had a new way of communicating.
He finally felt like he had a voice again.

Enjolras sighed, slouching down in his seat. Matters of the heart were definitely not his strong suit. Combeferre and Courfeyrac were more acquainted with that sort of thing (because no matter how much they denied it, they were totally dating - Enjolras knew, he could hear them at night sometimes), and whilst their suggestions were fair enough - he didn't know if he wanted to risk embarrassing himself or the guy.
"I have a plan," Enjolras spoke up, looking between the curious faces of his friends. "I'm going to get his name first."
It was a good place to start.

“Go on a date with me.”
“...What.”
“I, I said, go on a date with me.” Atsushi’s bravado from the first sentence seemed to have rapidly disappeared and was shrinking away with every second but Akutagawa still didn’t know how to respond.
“...Why?”
“Because, “ He was blushing now. “Because I like you.”
Akutagawa stared at him for another minute while he stared at the floor, trying to figure out if Atsushi was genuine.
“Okay.”
“Huh?” He looked up surprised.
“I’ll go on a date with you.”
Atsushi’s whole face lit up and it was right then Akutagawa knew that he wasn’t the one making a mistake.
