When Jungkook pulls him into his space, Namjoon squeaks, his feet struggling to catch him before he unceremoniously falls against Jungkook's chest.
Staring widely at the divot between his clavicles, Namjoon lifts his eyes to find Jungkook gazing down at him, a slanted, salacious smirk on his lips when he purrs, "Keep up, Joonbug."

“D’you know the meanings of the flowers in the tattoo you designed for me?” Jungkook hears himself ask, then: why? Why am I asking that when I should be saying fuck yes please kiss me all the time—?
But Namjoon’s kneeling in front of him, hands gripping Jungkook’s thighs as he tries to squirm between them to edge closer to him. He’s blushing and nervous; Jungkook can feel his hands shake where they’re planted on his thighs, can see the tiny tremors in his shoulders, hears how shaky his breathing is. “Love at first sight. Hidden worth. I think of you,” Namjoon mumbles, “right? I looked it up online and in a book, but it was a really weird book—”
Jungkook covers one of Namjoon’s hands with his own, winds his other around his neck, and yanks him in to press their lips together.
(Or: in which Jungkook develops a crush on the tattoo artist who just moved next door after he comes in to buy flowers.)

The dorm was small, made up of one big room, one big bedroom, and one small bathroom, not designed to hold as many teenage boys as it was currently holding. The best thing about that room was Kim Namjoon, who sat there on the couch with white earphones and a red mp3 player in his lap. The best thing about that room was the loud, deafening bells that rang in Jungkook's head as soon as his eyes landed on Kim Namjoon.

Jungkook hears the bells for Namjoon and is beyond himself with happiness.
It's a shame, really, that Namjoon doesn't hear the bells for him.
