by-dance basis. When taxi dancing first appeared in taxi-dance halls during the early 20th
century in the United States, male patrons would typically buy dance tickets for a small sum
each. A taxi dancer would earn her income by the number of tickets she could collect in

~I am of two minds about what happened in 5x02, specifically the utter IDIOCY of
Andy Herrera EVER having sex with -CRINGE/VOMIT/RETCH/EYE ROLL/IMODIUM,
PLEASE-STAT!-Sean Beckett. In my AU, Robert was never demoted to 'Probie'
from BATTALION CHIEF (THAT IS UN-REALISTIC AND STUPID: NO CIVIL SERVICE UNION
WOULD EVER ALLOW THAT), and as patently ridiculous as the premise that no matter
matter how desperate Andy may be...BECKETT??! I decided to publish the 'canon'
version (with some changes) with Chapter 3 as the AU in which she took a different, much
more believable (at least to me!) path.Enjoy.
