“I’m heading to Kaer Morhen,” he tells him in the dark. Jaskier hums, curiosity guarded. “Come with me.”

And Jaskier says, “I’ll think about it.”

    And it’s enough.

Or: After the mountain, Geralt finds Jaskier.

    Summary

There were many things Cas loved about Dean: the summer green of his eyes framed by a heavy fan of lashes as Dean blinked sleepily into wakefulness every morning, the plush pair of lips –a perpetual invitation to sin especially alluring whenever Dean pouted, which was a pretty common occurrence since the young man seemed highly-attached to his childish mannerisms– always so soft as Cas bit into the flesh, coaxing needy moans from Dean’s throat, and his freckles, that map of constellations stretching all over Dean’s tanned supple skin.

Castiel loved everything about Dean, not only his body but his mind too. The boy was a crackerjack, feisty and kind, a fucking marvel. He was the whole damn package. But Dean's ass? Now that was something else entirely, a menace of its own. And Castiel’s ultimate weakness.

Or, in which Castiel can't get enough of Dean's ass.

“So what’s up with- Dude, again?” Sam’s voice rings through the room incredulously.

    Dean grunts in response.

“You can’t possibly still be tired. Like, I feel like this should be physically impossible.”

“Tell that to my melatonin levels.”

“How do you know what melatonin is?”

Dean does his best to roll his eyes under the cover of his eyelids. “Jesus, Sam, I’m not an idiot. Will you shut up so I can sleep?”

He hears Sam huff. “Ya know, if you wanted to nap, you could always use that thing you have called a bed.”

“Not the same,” Dean grumbles. His body doesn’t get all loose when he’s laying in his bed watching horror movies. The synapses that slow their firing contentedly seem to be wired to that same invisible bodily response of the outside world, and apparently being in the openness of his family’s space turns his brain into mush. “Now unless someone’s dying, I’m beggin’ you to shut up.”

or the one where the whole family is together, dean finds enough peace to take some naps, and he's not sure he'll ever figure out how to say those three big words to cas

“What do I smell like to you?”

Geralt looked up from where he was sharpening a blade to frown at the bard. “What?”

“You’re always sniffing around me,” Jaskier explained with a smile that covered the sheepish blush on his cheeks, “And I've read that Witchers have a keen sense of smell so tell me, what do I smell like to you?”

    Home.
