Summary
As the last rays of the second sun sank below the horizon, Hazoret felt the ripple of trepidation that emerged from the mortals at her feet as they watched the darkening sky.
Are we too late? Is this how the world ends?
And she knew that she must be a god for her people, though she had failed them already, though her divine essence screamed with pain and fatigue. Leaning on her staff, she drew herself up to her full height, and smiled.
"You need not fear the setting of the second sun, my children. It will be very dark, and very cold, but it will last no longer than the dim nights you are accustomed to. We shall endure beyond this night."
And so saying, Hazoret the Fervent cast her gaze toward the horizon, and led her people through the darkness.

Summary
Tonight they'd meet openly, purely out of their fondness for each other. Aziraphale wouldn't need to think about averting his eyes enough, or reining in any affection that started to become too blatant, or containing all the feelings it would be cruel to let Crowley reciprocate. He could order everything he liked, and feed Crowley a bit of each, despite his protests. He'd get to watch Crowley's face soften into a small smile of contentment as his 'cool' façade was slowly forgotten, and then Aziraphale would make him laugh— loudly, honestly.
Aziraphale has invited Crowley to dinner for the first time since the averted apocalypse, and he's vibrating with anticipation.

Harrow's paint had washed off almost completely in the pool, but there were a few bits of paint still stuck in her hairline. Gideon flicked at them with a finger. "Someone has got to take better care of you," she muttered.
Harrow's response was so muffled against Gideon's shirt that at first she thought she'd imagined it.
"One flesh, one end," Harrow said, just before she kissed Gideon.

Aziraphale frowned. "It would stand to reason, you would say, that a demon who time after time does things that seem good must necessarily have an ulterior motive."
"Of course," said Abdiel, sounding strangled. "Ulterior motives left and right."
"Right, of course."
"Like seducing angels to their side, probably," said Abdiel.
"Quite plausibly."
Aziraphale watches as another angel loves a demon, who Rises so they can be together. This definitely does not stir up any uncomfortable feelings for him.
