    Summary

Simon is a foster kid in London, desperate to get through today, thank you very much. Tomorrows are for people with better luck than him. Baz is a rich Pitch in the tiny town Sandside (as rural as rural can be), whose love for the hometown he hates may be the crux of all of his problems.

This is a world where magic has moved on.

Where stars fall from the sky.

Where time is less a linear progression and more a slow dance.

And where Simon and Baz start switch places, which will—inevitably—change everything.

    Summary

The flight from Incheon International to Heathrow airport is not pleasant: 12 hours of uninterrupted cruise, the kind of trip that breeds blood clots in your legs, that could bore the unprepared mind to death.

Simon is flying back to London after two years abroad and Baz is returning from a business trip.

When an unexpected overbooking lands Baz-I've-never-flown-economy Pitch in coach, Baz is sure that his travel plans cannot get any worse.

Until he meets the idiot sitting next to him. A golden-haired nightmare named Simon Snow.

    Summary

It's been three months since the merger. Simon Snow, once perfectly happy with his meaningless desk job, now dreads coming to work. His boxy little office has been replaced with a modern, spacious, glass-walled prison he must share with the new boss's son. As if things couldn't get worse, said CEO's son―Baz “Don't touch my fucking ruler” Pitch―informs him they must plan an office party together to celebrate the merger. The good news: the view from their sixty-first floor office is fantastic. The bad news: Simon isn't sure he can spend one more day in close proximity to Baz without strangling him. (Or kissing him. Or pinning him against the photocopier. But that's neither here nor there.)

    Summary

They say the wizard Pitch traverses the land in his moving castle, looking for hearts to steal and devour. Simon's too busy to worry about such things - he's got a farm to run, cheese to sell, and countless wonky goat faces to stitch onto bags. It'd be a bloody nightmare if something were to come along and disrupt his regimented life of cheese, eat, goat, sleep, repeat...say, for example, a wraith who behaves a lot like a scorned vampire, a plucky apprentice, a fire demon, a heedless war, or an unshakeable curse. Yes, it'd be just dreadful if that were to happen. (But if it didn't, there would be no plot, so. Sorry, Simon.)

    Summary

There is nothing Simon Snow loves more in life than football. And there's really nothing in Baz Pitch's life other than football.

Baz Pitch is the star player of Mummers United FC, a low tier club he's singled-handedly put on the maps, along with the tiny northern town of Watford-on-Mummers. Simon Snow is a footie fanatic, founder of the MumU supporter section, and owner of the Sun and Goat pub. He's built a living out of watching Baz play, and it doesn't even matter that they haven't spoken since they were kids. Simon knows, no matter what, Baz Pitch is going to be the greatest player England has ever seen.

So why is Baz Pitch living in a middle terrace in the middle of nowhere, day drinking and doing (bad) yoga?
