Ningguang thought as she gently ran her fingers into Beidou’s hair. A soft pout was on her lips as she brushed a few strands out of the sleeping Captain’s face.Of all the things we could be doing this is what you settle for after all of your whining and complaining about the work I give you?
Gently and carefully she traced along the sensitive scar tissue that Beidou usually hid behind her eye patch. A price payed in exchange for her electro Vision. The Vision which was, in return, a reward for fearlessly striking down Haishan.
Sometimes Ningguang would wonder about the way Vision bearer’s were chosen.
One thing she knew for sure however was that while Beidou had partially lost her sight, all the Tianquan herself had lost was a simple business opportunity instead.
And sometimes, Ningguang would further wonder how her own life would have changed, had actually been able to sell rather than reawaken the masterless Vision shell she had gotten her hands on. Or rather whether or not it actually would have changed at all.
