Corazon never heard Law's full name, never stole him away, and as a result Law wasn't freed from Doflamingo's grasp. Not until a few years later, when a certain rubber idiot bounced into his life. And then, of course, their flamingo butt of a captain had to get involved.
Law is aged down to three years older than Luffy instead of seven, to make the age difference less weird.
