    This will be a series of one-shots. I have several headcanons that have been banging around and decided “Hey, I should write these!”. Most stories are just my interpretation of scenes we know happened (or at least assume), but were never seen in canon. Some may be short scenes that I’ve imagined post-canon for Abby and Luka, but don’t fit into my main fic for one reason or another.

    I’ve given the entire thing an M rating because you never know when these two lovebirds are going to jump each other.

    A problem springs up with Luka’s work visa and he is on the verge of having to leave the country. Abby can’t stand the thought of him leaving and offers a solution: a green card marriage. It might kill them both, but they're committed.

    Or: the fake marriage/marriage of convenience AU no one asked us for that we wrote anyway. AU from the end of 8x14.

    Canon divergence from 9x17 on.

    After the proposal that wasn't in 9x16, Abby and Carter broke up. Three weeks later, she's preparing to head on the Vegas trip offered to County employees with Susan and Jing-Mei, when a last minute switch occurs. Jing-Mei can't go and Luka is taking her place. So much for a low-key vacation with the girls.

    Luka's a hot mess and Abby's a bit of a mess herself, and they're going to make some more hot messes along the way. And it's Vegas, so...
