[SPOILERS for the end of TGAA2] In which Kazuma traces Ryuunosuke's old friendships in London, writes more letters to his partner, lightens the load off his heart, and finally, at the end, meets the love of his life.You remind me so much of myself, Kazuma almost wants to tell Gina Lestrade, and he wonders how he got stuck with two of his semi-doppelgangers but in a strictly professional context. Some higher power out there, possibly, set it up for a laugh. And so van Zieks and Lestrade orbit around him, day in and day out, shadows of each other’s star systems, too far-flung to collide, but simultaneously too close for comfort. Someone’s trying to teach Kazuma a lesson, maybe. Someone’s trying to show him permutations of grief.
A loose sequel to this house is yours when we sleep in it.
