His second thought was no.
His third thought was, sometimes?
“It varies from moment to moment,” Loki answered honestly, prying his eyes open after they threatened to fall close.
“But on a scale of one to ten, where are you at right now?”
“Maybe a three?”
The Spider-child nodded. “Cool,” he replied. “Let me know if it gets above a six.

“Can’t I just keep them?” Harley tries—it’s a flimsy attempt, but it’s all he can think of now that there’s a mild panic numbing a majority of his functioning brain cells. “I can—I mean, I can, right? Keep them?”
“Give me a single good reason for why you would benefit from keeping your wisdom teeth.”
Harley parts his lips, instinctively relying on his quick wit to think of a clever response fast enough, but his throat closes up and not a single thing comes to mind. Slowly, he lifts his lowered jaw, presses his lips together, and sharpens his glare until he’s shooting daggers at Tony, who looks all too smug with himself.

There is one down side to Harley and Peter going to the same school as him, really, and that’s the fact that it’s kind of hard to keep a secret from them. Not that Miles is particularly keen on keeping secrets, but when he gets paired up with two people in class that end up being—really nice, and very cute, and—well, when Miles ends up developing two very strong crushes on both of them, he doesn’t want anyone to know.
And he definitely doesn’t want his weird, embarrassing adoptive teenage dads to find out.
