Hermione bit her bottom lip as she turned the pages of her book "I even thought you might be a ghost but I ruled out that possibility after meeting real ghosts in Hogwarts. I don't know what you are, and I can't find an explanation of why I'm the only one that can see you."
The hooded figure smiled, this was not the first time they discussed this subject and would not be the last. Not while that curious mind kept breathing.
"You know I cannot answer an unasked question." The figure responded with a kidding tone.
Hermione finally put her book aside to stare at them. The girl hadn't read more than three sentences in an hour, her mind was too active with questions to be able to concentrate properly.
"Who are you?" She sighed so low she was surprised they had heard her question.
"I'm someone who cares." Hermione frowned irritably at the vague answer.
"That's not all you are."
"No." Staring at the girl they uttered in an oddly sweet voice "I'm also your friend."
