    Summary

Ezra Fell didn't know what he was expecting when he heard a crash down in his bookshop, after hours, but it certainly wasn't a young runaway with a troubled past, looking to wait out the storm.
He most definitely didn't expect what came next.

    Summary

In hindsight, Sandalphon found Sodom and Gomorrah to be very educational.

Humans, by their very nature, were corrupt, vicious, and sinful creatures who would give into their violent and base desires without proper guidance from Heaven and their love/fear of Her. And while those humans who dared to think of forcing themselves upon two angels of the Lord were thoroughly punished for that desire, multiple cities wiped from existence before they could lay a hand on anyone. But upon looking back, Sandalphon realized that there must have been demonic influence at work stirring up those dark impulses. And the demon certainly hadn't been punished for his role in things.

But after the failed apocalypse, Sandalphon realized who it must have been back then. And the punishment should match the crime...

    Summary

Crowley and Aziraphale are neighbours. And...it does not go at all well, until it does.

A human AU in which Aziraphale is a bookseller, Crowley is a drummer, and they are both petty disasters in the worst/best way.

    +++

“So what’s your deal?” asked Crowley.
“My-my-my deal?” Aziraphale stammered. “I’m a bookseller, is my deal.”
“Oh,” they replied, sounding as uninterested as it was possible to sound.
“It’s just, I couldn’t help overhearing, and --” Aziraphale swallowed hard. “You really are an accomplished musician. But I thought -- for after eleven PM -- perhaps we could reach some arrangement?”
    “Arrangement?”
Aziraphale felt his his smile turning forced. “Such as, perhaps, playing the drums *before* eleven? Instead of after?”
Crowley stared blankly at him. In fact he stared for so long that Aziraphale briefly wondered if he'd lapsed into ancient Greek again, which he was known to do in bad dreams or during panic attacks.

    Summary

More than the loss of the skin—which was enough of a problem to be getting on with, thank you—the problem was, Aziraphale had done the wrong thing.

If he could say to Gabriel that he'd simply seen a creature in distress and decided to help, he might not be forgiven, but he probably wouldn't be cast out. But, knowingly saving a human from drowning was beyond the pale. He was meant to be spying on them, not helping them.

    OR

Aziraphale is a selkie whose lost skin is somewhere in the village of Tadfield; Crowley is a fay who considers Tadfield his personal garden to cultivate and protect. They're drawn to each other, but neither is willing to divulge their secret. Naturally, a lot of inconvenient feelings and small-town hijinks ensue anyway.
