    He had to bite the bullet and deal with it. Dabi deserved to know.

    Keigo didn’t like kids. They were loud and messy and reminded him of everything that he wasn’t allowed to be at their age.
    Then again… Keigo didn’t technically like villains either and look how that fucking turned out.

    Dabi. How on earth had Hawks ended up in this mess? He is a literal murderer who regularly burns people to death. He is an asshole to everyone and has a god-awful temper. The only person he seems remotely fond of is Toga, he acts like he barely tolerates anyone else. He’s unhealthily skinny and absolutely covered in horrific scars. Keeping Dabi as just his mark should have been easy. But Keigo saw the beauty in his patchwork face and long legs, the caring and love for others that he tried to hide with insults. The silent displays of affection, the vulnerability of a man who was broken by life and is just desperately trying to hold the pieces together. Keigo was definitely never supposed to fall in love with his ugly, beautiful, angry, caring, patchwork villain. Now he can never love anyone else.

    It’s obvious Dabi wants to portray what they share as just sex, but it’s started to feel like something more to Hawks. He can’t deny the flutter Dabi leaves in his chest when they kiss or when he wakes up to see the outline of the other man sleeping softly next to him. These are the sappy thoughts Hawks keeps at the back of his mind but as he cracks open another beer, he gives into the blur of alcohol in his body — he’s too drunk to think straight about his villain comrade.

    or : Hawks is drunk and horny and alone and he’s texted his villain contact / sometimes hookup as if it’ll solve his problems.

    or : Dabi shows up to take care of Hawks in more ways than one.

    It would have been a wonderful night for a flight. The kind of night that surely would have left even his spirit soaring at the illusionary freedom were he able to take to the sky. Had the day not seen him stripped of feather after feather; each one going to use for another’s sake, regardless of the unrest it ignited as the once glorious wings he was known for faded to near nothing. Until all that remained was the hollowness in his chest and the ache in his back that had once been nothing short of agonizing before he’d been forced to grow used to it. After all, he was a hero, and a high ranking one at that. Whether it was his desire or not, it was the hand that fate had dealt him, and it was a hero’s job to give everything they had to help. 

    Even if that ‘everything’ left them aching both inside and out.
