When they’re almost in the car, one of the reporters get s a lucky shot and says something in between the cacophony that somehow isn’t overlapped by twenty different voices: “Today is the anniversary of Obadiah Stane’s tragic boating accident. You two were very close, family even- any comments on his passing?”
Tony stiffens. Steve wouldn’t have been able to notice if he wasn’t pressed up against his side, but he is and he does.
(Or, Tony tells Steve about Obadiah.)

"Fury and Coulson’s eyes were on her, but Toni couldn’t remove her gaze from where her boyfriend was already excitedly reminiscing with the man he knew as his old friend.
Was this karma for all the times that she’d hooked and booked with guys specifically chosen to piss Howard off? It had to be."
When Howard Stark is somehow thrown into the future, Toni has to figure out a way to keep her longtime boyfriend from finding out just why she hated his old friend, keep her adopted not-son Peter away from the abusive older Stark, and find a way to send the man back without letting him glean too much about the future, all while watching Steve bro-bond with her dear old dad and reminding people that she was not remotely mother material so everyone just stop encouraging Peter to call her Mommy, damn it!
Piece of cake.
- Part 1 of Mother Material
"I feel it deep within/ It's just beneath the skin/ I must confess that I feel like a monster/ I hate what I've become/ The nightmare's just begun/ I must confess that I feel like a monster!" ~ Skillet's "Monster"
Steve butted his forehead against Tony's. “I love you.”
“I think it goes without saying that I might just feel the same way about you,” Tony drawled.
“Maybe. I think I'd like to hear it anyway.”
“Well, fine. I love you, Hannibal Lecter. Please don't feed me anymore people.”
He smiled. “I'll see what I can do.”

A witch has held the Stark Kingdom in a bitter winter for almost twenty five years. Obadiah Stane is leading the armies into bloody wars, the Iron King Howard and his Queen were murdered and their child hidden away behind the castle walls.
Omega Prince Tony has spent his life with only Uncle Obadiah and a few servants to keep him company, but when he discovers a witch named Sunset and a secret about his parents death, he escapes the castle in the middle of the night and runs away into the forest.
Tony finds safety in a band of rebels led by Alpha Natalia and her six soldiers, so he hides with them while learning what he can about the history between Sunset and his Uncle Obadiah-- only to realize that HE is the one the legends prophesied to end the winter.
The stories say the one to break the curse will win the love of both Prince and Hunter, but no one knew that meant both a charming Prince and a brutal Huntsman would claim the Omega as mate.
Running for his life from Sunset and Obadiah’s armies, Tony has a choice--ignore the prophecy and join Natalia’s rebels in a losing war, or give in to the need between himself and the two Alpha’s and decide to believe in magic
--and in love.
