Summary
To drink, or not to drink, that’s the real question here. Somewhere in this battle of will, a voice whispers for him to back away. He is not his father, doesn't need whatever solace lies at the bottom of a bottle. He holds back a manic smile, keeps his face blank; it bears wondering, however, why his conscience still sounds like Scott.
Just an English assessment I repurposed for an angsty Stiles introspection. Basically, grown-up Stiles returns home to deal with his fathers affairs, several years after leaving Beacon Hills, the supernatural and his dad behind.

He finds it hard to keep track of time when most days it is a struggle to remember his own name. It feels like years have passed, an age of pain and despair, but he finds his mind is no longer as sure as it once was. The perception of time that slips in and out of his grasp could simply be another trick designed to trap him, like the sympathetic serving boy or the door left off its latch. It doesn’t matter though, not really. It could be useful, if he was able to hold onto it long enough to count the days. He could find the answers to some of those questions that lurk in the dark, always watching, always waiting.

Summary
The average amount of blood in a human is approximately 7 percent of their body weight. John Watson is around 154 pounds, which means his body holds around 4.9 litres of blood. The normal resting heart is 60 to 100 beats per minute. In stressed conditions, say, a devastating explosion, the heart rate increases and can get to as high as 150 beats per minute. The heart beats 6 quarts of blood per minute. Working off this, John Watson can afford to lose 40% of his blood (1.96 litres) before he enters hypovolemic shock. Bleeding out can take as quick as 5 minutes.
This means that if Sherlock can’t reach John in the next few minutes he might die.
Introdcuing mildly immortal John Watson and a very emotionally constipated Sherlock Holmes, this is the sequel to I just die in you arms tonight (again), where we find ourselves in the aftermath of John's supposed 'death'. You don't necessarily have to have read the first one, but it might help a little with the "John can't die" thing.

Summary
Dragon!Zuko AU where Zuko is the only dragon and this causes so much chaos. Inspired by @muffinlance and all the dragon crazy.
Part 1: A Dragon Child's Instinct - Mostly Azula POV of the strange things Zuko did as a child and how that affected their relationship.
Part 2: A Dragon's Cry to Agni - The Agni Kai
Part 3: A Dragon's Instinct - The main story which should cover most of the banishment period before Aang returns.
Part 4: A Dragon's Sky - Zuko and his attempts to wrangle an Avatar into a force capable of helping defeat Ozai and the mess that happens because of that. The second main story of the series.
Part 5: A Dragon's Ending - The Epilogue
I have no idea how long this series will go or how long it will take to finish. But it will take a long time. I'm a slow writer after I use up the initial creativity burst but please stick with me through it all.
