Coraline Jones hated rom-coms. She couldn't stand Romance novels and she detested Valentine's Day. She scoffed when she saw couples kissing in the hallway at school. And she turned down every single date she was asked on. All of this would lead one to believe that she despised the idea of falling in love. But that was wrong. Coraline had been in love since she was 14, maybe longer.
"Their first meeting is awkward.
"Your 11, right?" He teases. She huffs, cheeks red, before discreetly kicking him under the table. Hard enough to leave a bruise. She risks a glance at the parents, who are totally absorbed in one another, before leaning towards him from across the table and hissing out:
"I'm 13, you total moron!"
He grins again.
To an outside viewer it would appear as though they hated each other, but truthfully they were both thoroughly enjoying the back and forth."
'This was not a good idea. I don't think I can handle this!' You panicked.
You were on your way to your new job as Junior Counselor at Camp Campbell. Oh boy. You were 17 and great with kids, so you should be good. Only problem? You just so happened to have crippling Social Anxiety. Sure you were okay with kids, but adults? You could barely speak around them. And your Co-Counselor was rather cute.
That might be a bit of a problem. Talking to people was hard enough, but people you find attractive? That was hell.
"Welcome to Camp Campbell! My name is David!" He sure was hyper.
