“Shut the fuck up,” Mal whispers, but she’s giggling as she says it. “We’re gonna get so caught, oh my gods.”
“Not if you shut up too,” Carlos whispers back, pulling her along by the hand through the darkened kitchens. “Come on, lift your feet. Don’t be so loud.”
Mal shifts her weight onto the front of her feet, so that the hard heels of her new boots don’t hit the floor quite so hard. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than it was, and it’s not like many people are investigating the student kitchens at half past one in the morning anyway.
Except for them, of course. Wicked children up past their bedtimes, and looking for fresh trouble....

It’s Descendants A/B/O, folks! There’s no defense for this nonsense. It is 100% self-indulgent, worldbuilding-focused, werewolf-adjacent ot4/ot5 fic about a dcom series.

Brendon came from a tiny farm in the Ramtop mountains half a cow and two acorns short of being a hovel, and had assumed the city of Ankh-Morpork would be similar in size and variety to the kingdom of Lancre. It might even be smaller, he had supposed, because Lancre -- that huddled collection of villages, mountains and goats -- was a kingdom, whereas Ankh-Morpork was merely a city.
This was much like using height to deduce that a baby made less mess than a hat stand, and tended to have the same effect on one's shoes.

Otabek wears hipster briefs with his costumes, because to the great loss of the world at large, Otabek’s costumes are cut roomier in the leg than Yuri’s. Still, he did ballet for the two years before he crapped out, and Yuri is so far from the only guy in the seniors division sporting a tiny strip of fabric under his outfits, so it’s not like Beka shouldn’t fucking recognize a perfectly normal, functional athletic garment when he sees one.
“It’s satin," Otabek points out. "And sparkly.”
