Summary
A look at Sousuke and Aiichirou's fluffy domestic lives through Rin's eyes.
Rin was pretty sure he saw what was going on between all of his friends before they did. Even with Sousuke and Ai. If anything they needed a bigger push than all the others did. Rin was aware of the one sided feelings between both of the two boys and himself. There was even a point where he thought he might return said feeling to either one of them. He'd always wonder what would have happened if he had made a move on Ai before Sousuke had come to notice him. Or if he had turned around and kissed Sousuke the in moment he sort of confessed that one night in their dorm. Could he be as happy with one of them as they were with each other?

Summary
Sousuke had been in love with Rin for as long as he could remember. Whereas Aiichirou can remember the moment he met and fell in love with Rin. They're two people who are only half as compatible with Rin as they are with each other. Will it have to take a wrecked shoulder and some terrible swimming times to make their love story begin? Well it hasn't taken anything else so far.
"Leave things be. He told himself. And Rin will get where he needs to be."
-- Sousuke's PoV"Rin-senpai likes me. Not the way I like him, but he's my friend. And he's just being a fair captain. Ai's lips pulled back into a terribly forced smile that, no matter how tightly he pressed them together, could not mask the trembling that had come over his bottom lip. Rin-senpai is such a good captain."

Summary
“You never let me cook for you,” Will said, taking Hannibal’s offered glass of bourbon. “You never let me do anything, in fact. Unless it’s taking out the trash or fixing the dishwasher.”
Hannibal smiled and took his seat by the fire. “Seems we’ve fallen into a routine.”

Summary
Two years after the fall, Will and Hannibal settle down in Dordogne, France, but not everything is perfect. Hannibal hates that Will has gone vegan, and Will isn't allowed to have a dog—and those are the least of their problems.
(Set two years after We Belong Dead.)

Summary
Chiyoh never announces her visits, preferring to show up like a bad cold. She never stays longer than a day or two, during which she and Will stare each other down. Will doesn’t say it out loud, because that would be admitting his small, secret fear of her, but he always wonders if she’s planning to push him off the porch, or out the window, or into the Baccara roses.
It’s a dark night, but not stormy, so Will assumes she neglected to check the forecast. Chiyoh’s talent for arriving just before dinner holds true, though, and Hannibal has gained an appreciation for leftovers in the last few years, which means there will be plenty of trout beurre blanc for all of them.
Sometimes, she greets them with a few rabbits or a duck or two slung over her shoulder. Chiyoh, breaking tradition, presents Hannibal with a live cat.
Will does not like cats.

Will finds a dog; a cat finds Hannibal; around and between, they find a quiet life together.

Summary
"My love," he says, during another quiet evening between autumn and winter, where the air is humid and dark, and the sun still takes far too long to reach the horizon, and there are daffodils and lilies growing in the same place around a pond. "Who taught you how to play Chess?"
Will doesn't meet his eyes, entranced by the splay of black and white on the table in front of him. He is an aggressive player, Hannibal finds, and will open his flanks wide in the hopes of distracting his opponent from the lance aimed for their heart, as the feathers and pretty lures he makes hide the sharp hook from the fish. So, too, was Hannibal speared while he spent his time admiring the frills and edges of Will's beautiful mind.
