    Summary

Crowley had waited six thousand years, kept it all in check. But this was the slipperiest slope he’d ever set foot on and as soon as he’d indulged in a few discretionary acts of kindness he was falling face first into pining, tumbling into flirting, about to dislocate is knees on the sharp rocks of intimacy.

Was this really it? What he had waited six thousand years for? A stupid flower show? Aziraphale wasn’t pulling away from him. Maybe… maybe this time he wouldn’t? Maybe they’d hold hands again. Maybe tonight with a bottle of merlot in them he’d finally work up the courage and just kiss him and he wouldn’t pull away.

The very moment he’d thought it he spotted the problem at the flower show.

Don't believe everything you read on the Internet—unless, of course, you're an angel with reality-warping powers.

(Which is to say, it turns out there really are hot single MILFs in Aziraphale's area. And they do want to meet.)

    Summary

After six-thousand years, Crowley has had his fill of temptation. What he wants now is a plan.

And this plan is going to need to be a good deal more effable.

(AKA: A bunch of scenes I wanted to write about Crowley pining through history held together by tropes, duct tape, and things I learned in Sunday school.)

“It’s angel food cake,” he said. He waited. When Aziraphale did nothing but nod politely: “It’s funny, see, ‘cause-”

“No, no, I get it.” Aziraphale nodded again. “Very funny.”

    “Oh, shut up, it is-”

“May I ask what brought this on?”

Crowley paused. “Can’t a guy just want to try baking?”

(Or, Crowley makes Aziraphale food after the world doesn't end. It has absolutely nothing to do with how much he wants to make Aziraphale smile.)

    Summary

God instructed Raphael to bind the demon named Azazel, “...and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague...”
That is how Crowley scored his point, in one particular round of ‘real or fake bible quote’ sometime around 2011, on a day off from their jobs with Warlock’s household: heal the earth which the angels have corrupted. He strongly disliked to bring the matter up, but he suspected it would work, and Aziraphale was not nearly drunk enough yet for his own good.
Aziraphale could have sworn that the line read ‘which the Fallen angels have corrupted.’ He got out Enoch’s first draft of his book and everything.
“Well, the Fallen bit was implied, all the Watchers were Fallen and it clearly referred to the Watchers, because what the devil would She have meant by it otherwise?” the angel had finally asked, frustrated.
“Implied? Angel, you made this game. Drink.”
