The one where Five finds out the full truth about Klaus’ first time, and well– let’s just say Diego isn’t the only vigilante in the family.

Pretty straightforward. Klaus ends up confiding in Five about what really happened his first time, after having a really bad night. Five, the angry assassin, decides he can't stand the thought of that man still living (and in the world that HE saved, dammit!), so he decides to rectify that...with much blood. He basically "To Catch a Predator"s the guy, then goes in for the vengeance. He tells Klaus afterward, who really isn't sure what to say to that. (Like...thaaank..youu??)

Mortica knew that she wasn’t pregnant when she woke up this morning.

So, when she collapsed in the middle of her garden, belly suddenly swollen as the contractions overcame her, nobody was more shocked than her.

This is the CUTEST. FUCKING. setup for Klaus being born into the most loving family possible, not to mention the household best equipped for him to grow up well-adjusted, with his powers as a gift which make him happy, rather than a curse. The dead, the gruesome and horrifying, and the strange are all embraced by this family, and all of the dead he's surrounded by in their home are happy and supportive relatives, so... what's to fear or be upset by? Gomez and Morticia are absolutely in LOVE with their little miracle baby, who utterly completes their family.

Of course, Reginald also keeps showing up being increasingly ominous in trying to get them to give him their baby...

    Summary

Number Four has always been afraid of the ghosts that haunt his and only his visions, but Reginald Hargreeves never cared much for silly things like childhood trauma. But when his son's ridiculous fears get in the way of his stronger, physical abilities, he just might have to do something never thought possible. A parenting decision that actually benefits his child. Through the power of gaslighting.

    OR

Klaus gets his comic powers at a young age, but his show powers get in the way, Daddy McDuchegreeves is like ‘Bye!’ And it actually does wonders for his life choices. But will it do the same for the apocalypse?

A What-If canon divergence where Reginald convinced Klaus that all of the ghosts he sees are "hallucinations" and not real, so that Klaus could come to terms with that (through a Reginald-approved therapist and some meds) enough that he no longer feared his powers. Instead, he embraces his powers (the only ones he thinks he actually has) and becomes incredibly accomplished with his telekinesis and floating/levitation/flying.

Takes place with the season 1 plot, everyone gathering for their father's funeral, just with slightly different dynamics. Klaus has a better relationship with Diego and Allison here, as they've always been protective of him given his powers (in danger of falling or getting stuck up high) and his "mental issues". And Five had a decent relationship with him before he disappeared, always wanting to push Klaus to better himself with his powers (everyone else babied him or pushed too hard, so Five tried to push just the right amount). And Klaus actually BELIEVES Five about the apocalypse after their trip to Meritech, even though Five didn't think he would, leading up to Klaus running off to tell Diego and get his help.

    Summary

The “plan,” if it could be called that, was stupid at best and reckless at worst, and Klaus had to wonder why Luther’s number being one meant so much to them anymore, when he kept tearing them apart, when he was exactly like Dad and only cared about himself and Allison. Vanya hadn’t deserved to be locked up like that, and it made Klaus cold to think that he was too fucking scared to do anything about it except give a token argument, because if he had fought he might’ve ended up with that little girl on the bike again, or worse, locked up himself. Vanya didn’t deserve any of what life had given her, didn’t deserve the way they’d treated her in recent years, even if the book she had written was hurtful, and Klaus regretted that he was too out of his mind to even try and talk to her. He had always had more in common with Vanya and Ben than anyone else, but he had almost lost them both.

    Almost.

He was done taking orders from Luther, done helping the man who had left him dead on a club floor in the middle of Nowhere, New York City. He was done being the deadweight, hadn’t been a deadweight in nine months and three weeks now, wondered if he could rely on his siblings as much as he could rely on his brothers in arms.

SO GOOD! Klaus decides Luther's being stupid with his plans again and goes inside the theater to tell him they should let Vanya play, then all go out afterward, talk, and apologize to her. Luther gets mad, accidentally(?) kills Klaus again in dismissive anger, and when Klaus comes back and Vanya's already in White Violin Mode, he unleashes Ben on the Commission's gunmen, but ends up getting fatally shot in the gut by Cha-Cha, which snaps Vanya out of it (after killing the assassin). Everyone gathers around Klaus, he apologizes to and validates Vanya, takes the angry wind out of Luther's sails by saying all the ways Luther's screwed up (including leaving Klaus dead--*twice*!). Klaus admits he doesn't know if he'll come back this time or not, and says everything in their lives is screwed up and broken beyond repair. Everyone's terribly upset. And even though the world's still in one piece, Five still takes them all back to fix it (a barely-hanging-on Klaus included), because none of them want this to be the timeline that sticks.

Klaus gets upset that Vanya's in the vault and can't leave her there like that, but he knows Luther's just scared and doesn't want to go against the Big Guy's orders, so he compromises and locks himself up in the vault with Vanya. (He's expendable anyway, no one will notice he's gone or care if anything *does* happen to him.) He and Vanya comfort each other (the mausoleum memories are always right there). Vanya gets to vent her fear and grief, and after waking up in the night from a nightmare, Klaus gets to vent everything to Vanya too. When she realizes he's still suffering from intense neck pain after having it snapped the other night, she breaks open the vault so she can get him to Mom. Apocalypse apparently averted, I guess.
