Disclaimer: I haven't read any Batman comics, I've seen some of the animated Batman series and the Christopher Nolan movies and some Teen Titans. This fic is based off a Dark!Dick Greyson from sarriathmg on AO3's Renegade AU collection and a lot of the plot is too, actually. It's just a big copycat piece with a whinier and female main character because self-insert fics are my coping mechanism. The author has ADHD and updates are extremely sporadic.
This is another cringey obnoxious self-insert fic that doesn't research Batman universes enough and crosses a lot of different things and is generally uninformed about Batman things.
I'm having Dick team up with the Joker right now and I know that's probably the least likely shaky alliance ever but we're doing it. My Dick is written a bit differently than sarriathmg's Dick because, obviously, we're different people.
This is a self-insert fic where the reader/original character is abducted when she becomes the new Robin after Dick's parents are murdered and he decides to avenge them then years later gets jealous of the new Robin. The narration jumps between the main character and Dick. It's 3rd person POV written in present tense.

Summary
It's been two years since the Red Hood came to Gotham in an attempt to force Batman's hand. Two years since Dick last saw Jason and they shared a night of desperate intimacy he's since tried and failed to forget. So when the erstwhile second Robin turns up again in Bludhaven - coincidentally working a lead on the same case as Dick - it's a tense situation for them both. But this particular case is one neither is willing to back down from, which means Dick's only choice other than walking away is to suggest they work together to solve it.
A course of action that would be so much easier to follow through on if he didn't still have feelings for Jason.
