Jason didn't know how to hold a baby. He was what, two years? Jason wasn't sure, the baby was so fucking small. Was he undernourished?
The only consolation was that even Goldie had no idea what he was doing.
“You're holding him badly,” Jason told him.
"Have you ever held a baby in your arms?" Dick asked, panicked.
“No, but sure you don't have to hold them under your arms. You will hurt him. "

The baby sobbed. Dick and Jason froze, terrified. The little boy rubbed his eyes with his fists, but in addition to the noise from before, he was keeping the tears to himself. It wasn't normal.

So it wasn't strange that the first thing she did on her return to Gotham was sneak into the drakes' lavish mansion.The Drakes were on the other side of the world and won't be back until Christmas. So Selina had all the time in the world and maybe even the opportunity to use the house in a fun way if a grumpy bat showed up.
She hadn't thought there would be a child.------------------

[.......]Dying sucked. Jason remembered the pain, the fear as the crowbar fell on him, breaking his bones. He remembered the teeth popping out of his mouth, and the bastard's laughter.
God, those laughs were unbearable. He would have given anything to make him stop.
What a pathetic end for a pathetic hunter: to die at the hands of a human being. When Jason thought about his death, he believed it would be something heroic, saving children perhaps from rogue vampires or out-of-control werewolves.
He didn't think it was going to be at the hands of a clown, gone mad after seeing too much of the world beyond the Veil.
The Universe had a sick sense of humor. He hadn't saved anyone, he had fallen into a trap, he had trusted a bitch and he was dead.
At least no one would mourn him. When he closed his eyes, he didn't expect to open them again. But he had done it.
