Summary
Tommy knows the world is a dangerous place. It’s what adults say. But he can’t help but play ignorant. Maybe it’s because he’s seen true horrors in the adults who yell out for his family to be killed or the fact that he lives among the creatures that are so called “dangerous”. But he really doesn’t believe in the humans who left him to rot when he was merely a child.
He’s proven wrong when a chance encounter flips his life on it’s axis and he stares into fond red eyes for the first time. When those eyes don’t let him go, when they cress at the corners as the voice who said eyes belong to say “mine.” With so much danger it causes him to shiver.
When faced with the fangs that are going to take every last bit of humanity Tommy has left he knows he’s been ignorant, that his world is very much a dangerous place.
Tommy’s forced into a world of monsters and creatures at a young age but only earns a place in it at the ripe age of fifteen. He meets others like him, boys with brown and black and white hair to match. But also meets a man with long pink hair, who dares to steal him away from Wilbur, Eret and Fundy with nothing more then a sharp and toothy grin. All with the promise of being his one and only sire.

Summary
Techno wasn’t new to the whole ‘things will get worse before they get better’ concept. But moving to the middle of nowhere was something he didn’t expect out of that statement. Not when he thought he had already gotten to his lowest moment.
He doesn’t think it can get worse, but when he gets bitten by a huge ass dog and his whole world changes, he thinks he spoke too soon.
Way to fucking soon.
Or; Phil moves Techno and his older brother Wilbur to a small town in the hopes of bettering his mental health or whatever. It seems like his life being turned upside down is part of this grand scheme as Techno’s thrusted into the world of werewolves, hunters and a family outside of what he’s always known.
He doesn’t think this is going to end well.

Summary
It was pretty easy to realize Ranboo was an orphan, with no parents and a home in a broken foster system. He liked to keep it on the down low however, not wanting everyone to know his business.
It was just another thing that was a part of Ranboo’s complicated life. He couldn’t change it, couldn’t ask for another hand of cards to play. He’s stuck with this one, and he’s fine with it.
Ranboo would like to say he lived a pretty normal life outside of that fact. Wake up, go to school, come home, activate a magical choker that turns him into a magical girl…
However the card deck he was handed in life goes up in flames when bigger then petty crime springs up, leaving the city off balance as good and evil battle it out. Ranboo finds himself in the middle of a magical mystery with his two vigilante friends, Rover and Mellohi, who’s pasts seem to be just as lost as his own.
He’s going to need help if he wants to stop the chaos, but will he give anyone a chance? Are they even trustworthy?

Ranboo lived in the sort of household that you would call old-fashioned, maybe a little strict and closed-minded. Not in the way you might think, though. They accepted everyone and everybody, but when it came to second genders they closed off. Ranboo grew up like this, with a only a few pieces of a world everyone around him was slipping into eagerly and without his parents' hesitation. What were they so afraid of?
Now you can only imagine what suddenly going to the UK for four months—away from home for the first time—would be like. Meeting up with his friends was going to be awesome, amazing and most importantly fun! However, when you put three adults in charge of three instinct-filled pups there’s only one way to go: off the rails. Coupled with the fact one of the pups' second gender instincts are just coming out, this trip wasn’t at all going to be tame.
The game is chaos and they're all playing to win. Ranboo never thought this meet up could be so life-changing. He had never thought of how it would thrust him into the world he'd been so persistently shielded from for so long.

Summary

Caught Red Handed
BananaBroRanboo is the new foster kid up in the SBI household. He can see ghosts but everyone thinks it’s some other mental illness. He’s forced to take pills by Phil and it messes him the fuck up. Tommy’s a twelve year old ghost who killed himself and lives in Ranboo’s room, once his own. Very sad, but I love it. Phil and Wilbur can go suck a wale, there so BAD. Techno is redeemable. It’s worse when you read the first fic, with there pov. Ranboo does sadly die but the Tommy and Ranboo friendship is worth the few tears. This is so well written and original I could totally see this being it’s own book. Also I love the Percy Jackson and Gravity Falls references. This needs for hits, it’s honestly amazing.

Heart of Ice
ArwriterSander Sides oh have I missed you from my horrendous watpad days. I’v had this fic saved for awhile now, I’m happy I got around to reading it. I don’t read touch starve much, as I don’t like physical contact like hugging or cuddling but this was an exception and I’m glad for it. I like how everyone’s written so in character and how no one is really at fault. Even if the light sides should have asked Virgil if he was okay at touch. It’s just that beautiful miscommunication trope I love to read because I like being sad.

thanotaphobia (blue000jay)I generally wish this was longer, I fucking LOVE siren/mer fics. But alas, it’s only 9k words. It’s an amazing read though, worth it to read again. I just really like how Tommy couldn’t talk for some reason? It makes it more realistic in a way. Still have no idea where this kid got clothes from when he left the were house though. A mystery that will never be solved.

“Hey kid, sorry I didn't see you there. How can I help you?”
The kid shoots up and he looks scared out of his mind for a second before scowling. “I’m not a fuckin’ kid,” he snaps. Wilbur laughs softly, the kids eyes are blue, they remind him of Phil.
“Right, how can I help you?”
The kids’ bristling demeanor dies down instantly and he looks suddenly much more nervous. The kids posture is shit, Wilbur notices, his shoulders are up and slouched over his chest almost protectively. He starts fidgeting with sleeves of his shirt and he quickly but quietly pulls out a five dollar bill, he slides it across the bar to Wilbur.
“Could I have a- could I get a-“ He pauses, shakes his head and looks up.
“Hamburger and sweet potato fries,” He says it with a confident voice but scared eyes and body language.or phil, techno, and wilbur own a diner and tommy becomes a regular customer. one found family arc later and they adopt him

Saturday’s at the Diner
justsummrOh oh oh look what I’ve finally forced myself to read. And it does not disappoint! It’s so different from the usual foster tag and I really like it for that. I love how it explains everything and how the writer writes why Wilbur likes Saturday’s. I also like how it’s told by Wilbur’s perspective. I think that in of itself brings the story forward. There’s a lot of Tommy centric fics when it would do better with a different character as the focus. I’m glad it went this way. Also frick you Nate and Molly. You don’t deserve a child’s love!

He lifted his hand to see that it grew out of the tree itself, which was pretty cool—but extremely weird and not normal.

Ancient Dreams (In a modern world)
veryfizzytvstaticWitchInnit in the IRL world! I love this trope so much. Tommy fights shadow monsters and dodges questions like a total boss. His parents are a in the total dark but oh well, they should have been paying more attention. My favourite part was Tommy just trying to deal with vines and flowers sprouting up everywhere. Man is a whole weed and no one knows, well, at least until the end. Also how Twitter is written is amazing, people be confused.
