Wenqing’s gaze is hurt, almost devastated, and Ye Xiu’s heart aches. It’s not that he didn’t want to tell Wenqing, but- it hurt, an almost physical pain, when he thought about actually talking about the matter. Thinking about Excellent Era forcing him out was already bad enough, no matter that it was something he couldn’t ignore, unless he wanted to never be able to play professionally ever again. -

Some of Harry's memories end up in the past and 9-year-old him has to figure out 1. what to do about the shitty things he sees in his future, 2. how this happened in the first place, and 3. if he may just be making it all worse anyway. It doesn't help that his saviour complex apparently travelled back with him.
