Anything else was a waste of time. And there was so little of that.

Severus survives, but is in a coma that causes him relive memories of his entire life in sequence. Harry asks Hermione to keep watch over him, which she does in typical Hermione fashion: wholeheartedly and with plenty of research. After she tries using legilimency to wake Severus up, she ends up sharing his memories. Great story with plenty of angst and a very slow burn. ❤💙💜💚💛
