Summary
Tim didn't understand why his parents always left. Why they never stayed for him. He thought that maybe, just maybe, this year, they'd stay for his birthday.
And really it's fine, he's fine, that they didn't. He'll find someone else to celebrate with.
Everything's fine.
At least, that's what he convinces himself under the flashing lights and pounding music. Under the drinks and dancing and the sweat of other people's bodies far too close to him.
It lets him forget. For just a little while. Forget about his parents, about being Robin, about the Waynes or his school. Just for one second, Tim wants to forget.
So this wonderland swirls and warps and changes until Tim has nothing left to remember. He smiles along with it. -

It was school nurse Dianne's sixth kid of the day and it was only 9:30. Between Joker attacks and just living in Gotham being a school nurse sucked. Did the kid have an upper respiratory infection or is it remnants of Joker gas?
The next kid that walked in had a full-on bleeding arm. He looked like he had stuck it in a wood chipper. It was the start of a long day.
"Sit down right over there," Dianne said as she pointed to the chair. "What's your name honey?"
"Timothy Drake, I fell and hurt my arm. It's not bad, but my teacher said you needed to look at it before I could go back to class."

Summary
After John Constantine finds himself in Amity Park, Illinois (courtesy of the House of Mystery), he learns about the ghosts of the town, most notably the Ghost Boy, AKA Phantom. When John is strong-armed by the Fentons into helping during a ghost fight, a wayward spell hits Phantom, erasing all memories he has of his human life.
Considering the alternative is letting the Fentons experiment on him, John takes the young ghost kid under his wing. However, both of them are in over their heads as they try to get Danny's memories back, and Constantine is NOT father potential.

Jack and Maddie Fenton loved him too, they did, but they loved their work more.

After his parents react poorly to his reveal, Danny escapes to the only person he thinks can help him - Bruce Wayne. He doesn't know what to expect when he gets there, but it has to be better than where he is, surely? He certainly doesn't expect to be reunited with his long lost twin brother Damian. It's funny how things work out that way.

However the boys are woefully unprepared for what happens when they're thrown into an unfamiliar world where friends are enemies, enemies are friends, and the loves of their life barely even know who they are. When pretty much every aspect of their lives and almost all of their relationships important or otherwise, have been majorly altered, well even the four protégés of the big bad Batman are out of their depth on this one. How are they supposed to save a world that doesn't even know it needs to be saved?
