Aziraphale sat there, dumbfounded, as Crowley tried to explain it all to him.
“I'm sorry,” he said, “but I am not sure I quite got it.”
The demon looked at him, slightly irritated, but gestured, welcoming the angel to voice his apparent confusion.
“So you just… stole the antichrist? And brought him here?”

[AVENGERS: ENDGAME SPOILERS]
He was in a critical state. That was what FRIDAY said and Pepper didn't doubt it for a moment. She could see that herself, after all. But he wasn't dead, not yet at least, and she knew that no matter how well she pretended to be handling it, she didn't want him to go. So she kept holding onto that little bit of hope, even if it seemed desperate. Hell, she was desperate. But she was hardly the only one. None of the Avengers or their newfound allies were willing to accept any loss without a fight, and neither was she.
She was sitting on the grass on the meadow near their house, watching the stars, when she heard quiet footsteps coming from behind her and a familiar voice spoke.
“Hey.” She turned around and there, next to a small tree, stood Carol with a slight smile on her face. “Sorry it took me so long,” the woman said and took few steps forward, standing next to Maria, who quickly got up.
“Well, i gotta say, it was better than six years…”, she replied half-jokingly. It was true. She couldn’t wait that long again, not just after she got her best friend back.
Or: Carol decides to come back to Earth for her girlfriend and their daughter
“They can stay here with us. Can’t they, mom?”, Monica asked with hope in her eyes, and they couldn’t say no.
And they did. It took lots of effort on Fury’s part and Talos shape-shifting into Keller again, but they managed to stay. Somehow, SHIELD found a way to locate all the Skrull refugees near Maria’s house and Carol was pretty sure it wasn’t a decision made by someone with an authority to do so, but she didn’t think about it too much. She’s heard one of the neighbors moved away shortly after they came back from Mar-Vell’s lab, and she had her suspicions as to who that was. Poor guy. She felt bad for scaring him the last time she has seen him, but then again, she didn’t have much of a choice back then.
