Summary
The Halls of Mandos are not for song, but for whispers, and yet a bright voice rings out like a bell all the same, a thunderclap in the darkest corners, those that dare encroach on the Void itself. Death is a circle, and should his world not reflect that?
The song is one of treachery, of trust afterwards, of broken bonds reforged, and it ripples through the air in a single clear note, until-
“Ah, no. That’s not right. It never would have worked, would it. Perhaps- no, wait. Not that either.”
Technically, they are not for Finrod Felagund, either, but that has yet to stop him.
[In which Finrod, Maedhros, and Celebrimbor talk.]

Summary
A series of stories about Elrond's return to Aman at the end of the Third Age. All these assume that Maglor son of Fëanor was one of the other unnamed Elves who accompanied Elrond, Galadriel, Gandalf, Frodo and Bilbo on the ship when they left Middle-earth. Point of view is usually either Maglor or Elrond, but occasionally someone else (Celebrian, Lalwen, Nerdanel...)
The first story, And the wind as sweet as honey in the mouth, is about Maglor and Elrond meeting again in the Second Age, rather than in Aman, but fits with the overall series otherwise.
This series is connected with the Mandos series, about the experiences of Feanor, Fingolfin, Fingon, Curufin and Celegorm in the Halls of Mandos, but it can stand alone.

Summary
Fingon assailed Angband alone armed only with a harp, a bow and his own certainty that this was the right thing to do. More terrifying by far is the mire of politics and obligation that awaits him upon his return. His father wants a crown, his cousins want their brother back and Maedhros himself wants everyone to believe he’s fine (he’s really not). Fingon just wants everyone to be sensible for five minutes or, failing that, a problem that can be solved with courage and the edge of a blade.
