Summary
When Newt rescues a wounded jaguar, little does he know he's carrying MACUSA's own Percival Graves along in his case. Trapped in his animagus form, Percival just wants to get home and catch the guy that did this to him. By the time they reach New York, Newt has told his new jaguar familiar any number of secrets, and Percival Graves thinks he might be in love.
Unfortunately for him, Newt's not going to react well to discovering his familiar's true identity, and now Percival must find a way to convince him that he's not just a sneaky bastard, and that dinner at eight really is a great idea.

Summary
Returning to work after being captured by a dark wizard was always going to have its issues. Percival Graves isn't expecting it to be easy, but when unfriendly factions declare him one of Grindelwald's spies, Seraphina saddles him with an independent observer to keep the peace. Except this person is the accidental saviour of New York, Percival Graves' rescuer, and all-around awkward topic of conversation, Newton Scamander. Because Newt is a demon summoner, and Percival has dedicated his life to fighting the creatures his new partner apparently has such an affinity for.
A demon summoner AU in which Newt's beasts really are monsters, and Percival Graves must work out why he's so drawn to a man he's certain will one day turn dark, even if currently he's the kindest person he's ever met.
