    Lazard, the bastard, forced this job onto innocent, wide-eyed Cloud while on the train to Midgard. All the boy ever wanted was to go to Midgar and join SOLDIER, hopefully meet Sephiroth and the other SOLDIER First Class, and live life happily as a SOLDIER and send money back to his mother.

    Instead, he got a job pushed onto him, and now he has to deal with a LOT more than what he expected. He was trying to join SOLDIER as an actual SOLDIER, goddammit, not as the Director of SOLDIER.

    Cloud didn't know whether he should feel appalled, amused, or delighted.

    At least he still got to meet Sephiroth.

    Starting with To Be Human, this series explores a canon-divergent concept, where Sephiroth showed up in Modeoheim and succeeded in bringing Angeal back alive. The story expands to explore the real consequences of actions taken, and also considers how different things might have been with the help of a little honest communication.

    Both Before Crisis and Crisis Core canon are drawn from for the first story, with eventual nods to the rest of the Compilation as well.

Luckily for her, adventure takes less than 24 hours to show up on her mother's doorstep dressed like Mr. Smith and leading her to the promised land by way of private jet.

    Thanks to Jane Foster, Darcy dipped her toe in the great ocean of heroes and unbelievable things. If Pepper Potts and Steve Rogers have anything to do with it, Darcy is going to be baptized in that ocean. If Darcy Lewis has her way, she's going to wade in and learn to swim against the tide.
