The harbinger slaps Aether across the face. His head collides with the floor and he can feel the skin tear as blood starts to trail down his face, past his eyebrow, over his eye and onto his cheek. “Do you want to be tortured to death then, hmm? Have your body ripped in two by your own blade, or have all your limbs chopped off? Be skinned alive and forced to kneel on salt? The fatui have many methods of torture, Aether, don’t test me, because if you don’t behave, I’m going to hand you over to the Tsaritsa, and she will not be as lenient or patient as me.”
