Q would be worried if that was his first time summoning a demonic entity while being drunk.

Summary
Bond knows very little of the young Quartermaster's story, but after receiving a blunt dismissal of his questioning, he decides his own personal mission is to find out what events lead to Q meeting him in the art gallery that day. What he thinks will be a fun challenge of wits, may reveal that Q is more aware of the dark underbelly of espionage than James had anticipated.

His accent has changed. It’s coarser, more working-class. James would never have expected that Q was faking that posh accent of his; it fit his personality so well. But then, did James even know what Q’s personality was? He never would have pegged Q the type to be emerging from a club at 3 in the morning, sweaty and high, cigarette between his lips and oddly modern, oddly stylish cheap clothes on just a bit too tight– but who would?
Or, the one where, a few years after Alex Turner’s death, Daniel Holt has reinvented himself as Q, but every now and again he relapses to what he used to be. And it’s not always a good thing. And James Bond is confused and isn't good at Human-ing™.

Summary
James understood imaginary friends, and that meant that he also knew that that was one thing that Q definitely wasn't.
He may have been 11, but he was smart enough to realize that, while imaginary friends could only be seen and heard by the child thinking them up, they most definitely couldn't drink cups of tea, or read books.
James didn't know what Q was, and it didn't matter, because when everyone else left him, no matter what or where or when, Q was the only one who didn't.
Q was always there, a constant shadow, even on his darkest days.
