    Summary

'“Jesus, Hannibal,” gasped Will as Hannibal fisted his hand around his matching blue tie and hauled Will into a claiming kiss, rubbing his body against Will’s as though he couldn’t get close enough. His tongue entered Will’s mouth straight away, no softness or build up, just a plunge in, licking into him. Will shuddered, knees going a little weak at the aggression as he moaned and held onto Hannibal’s shoulders. Hannibal kicked Will’s legs apart, insinuating himself between them, shoving their hips together. Will broke from the kiss, gasping. He couldn’t believe he had ended up here.'

Date night at the opera goes a little differently to how Will expected...

    Summary

“Well,” Quentin began, fast, his hands on his knees. “Julia has been my standing plus-one for formal events since we were like, eleven, because she’s like, really good at them and I’m not really, and my whole family really likes her and everything but, uh, she’s busy next Saturday with Kady doing some hedgewitch...organizational….stuff, right—and like, I forgot to ask her about this until yesterday anyway because to be honest it kinda slipped my mind between school stuff and life stuff and, you know, uh, stuff—and I think it would be kinda….difficult to ask Alice at this point, right?—but I really don’t want to go solo to something like this, especially since I like, dropped off the grid for like—”

    “Q?”

Quentin sighed. “My cousin is getting married and I need a date?” He smiled a guilty grimace of a smile, and shrugged. “To the wedding, I mean.”

    Summary

Penny, in true Penny form, rolls his eyes, stepping aside to impatiently motion them out of the elevator and into a shockingly white room. “Calm down, you guys don’t have to worry about me. I’m fine down here,” he hands them two glasses of what turns out to be an also shockingly good Scotch. “You’re here for Quentin, right?”

“Yeah,” Julia nods, eyeing his suit and tie suspiciously, “are you going to try and stop us?”

It brings a burst of laugh out of Penny. “God, no. Please, take him with you,” he shakes his head, “do you have any idea how much trouble he’s causing here?”

And that brings an almost-smile out of Eliot, because yes, that does sound like him. “Please, do tell.”

or, first, Eliot grieves. Then, Julia finds a hare-brained solution that's right up their alley. After that, a lot of talking happens.

Alternatively titled, Eliot and Julia's adventure in the Underworld.

    Summary

In the chaos, they don’t notice until much later. The question of blame is passed around, and then the question of what constitutes a kindness, and then it is all quietly packed away and not brought up again. It’s hardly the worst casualty of the affair. And it isn’t as though the Binder has stuck around to put it back.

(One could claim it wasn’t entirely his fault. It had been taken before, you see. Maybe the old cuts were still there, still healing. Maybe it was flightier than most, used to its freedom. Maybe he was simply an old man who spent too long in a book, sloppy about something so precious. Who can say?)

However it happens, it happens like this: her Shade slips free with her goddesshood, and no one is any the wiser until it is far too late.

    -

Quentin spends his time at the Shade Orphanage. Julia makes a choice.
