    Summary

Klaus doesn't start a cult, he lands in that alleyway alone, he picks himself up and only bemoans his chance in life a little bit. Klaus doesn't travel the world, doesn't quote songs that aren't written yet, he finds a little street and a little restaurant and for once in his life, he stays; some supernatural things also happen too.

    Summary

"What?" Klaus looks down towards his chest and then to Five. "Did I get sun-burnt?" He removes his glasses to check.

Five's eyes remain glued to his chest, face blank.

Weird. There's no sunburn in sight.

Allison wipes her fingers on her towel, ignoring how the sunscreen smears across the fabric to reach for her notepad. Her knuckles are white from the force of her grip and Klaus frowns in concern.

"Klaus..." Vanya chokes out, eyes suspicously shiny. "...your chest."

Klaus tilts his head to the side. "What?"

"The scars," Five takes pity on him and solves the mystery. "Dumbass," he adds on a beat too late.

"Oh," he says, glancing down at the faint pales lines carved into his skin. Allison lays a hand onto his upper arm, rubbing soothing circles with her thumb, prompting him to glance up. "What about them?"

His sisters flinch at his causal tone, sharing a disbelieving glance.

    Or:

Klaus tries to get a tan and forgets that torture left its mark. It's only a matter of time until someone noticed the scars he came to terms with in his time in Vietnam. Understandably, his siblings aren't too happy to not have known their brother got tortured.

    Summary

He had bleed and cried, endured and died. All without complaining, the last timeline. For his brothers and sisters.

Only to end up here again. Alone and cold and afraid with too many ghosts wailing in his ears, reaching out towards him, longing to steal the breath from his lungs. So pitifully afraid Reginald had left him for the night—days, he’ll be gone for days with nobody caring to look for him—to his demons.

Fearful, useless, disappointing Number Four. Always afraid, never missed.

Never angry. Until now. Reginald could only push him so far until he broke and like all broken things, Klaus got furious.

    Summary

Eudora paused to take a breath, clearly readying herself. Everyone in the room tensed, strung like a bow for the news they all saw coming but not this soon.

"Your brother Klaus was found earlier this morning. He was dead before paramedics arrived. He couldn't be revived."

Or: The apocalypse is averted, the gang DOESN'T go back in time, and Klaus dies... But only long enough to hurt.
    Very self-indulgent stuff.
