Dealing with cards can be more tricky than it seems.
Musichetta learns this teaching the hard way.
Hopper had never been very lucky.
Even less so on such a Monday, with his somewhat daughter telling him Eggos would have been needed today of all day.
And with a situation he was not ready to deal with. At all.
ps: this work is a spur of the moment. I do not even know if I am ever going to write something more. Be aware of that before you dive in!
pps: the title is absolutely for me. Because I have No Remorse leaving this like that. Hate me. I don't care (I actually do).

Grantaire is a drunk and a flirt; an intelectual when he wants to be; an artist if he feels like it, and a cynic even though he does not always care to truly show it.
Grantaire is loud, obnoxious, artistic, political, hard-drinking, and better-read and better-spoken than most men.
But most of all, Grantaire is a woman, or anyway she use to be. That is until she came to Paris and faced the harsh truth of the French society under the Restauration. So she turned to wine, though she was already attracted to it. Then she turned to male clothing. And then, she met the Amis.
And then she was swayed between their words of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. And she was wesmerized by their leader in red, breathing fire and living for his passion.
But surely enough, she slowly became fed up by all the talks that were taking place in the group while they kept excluding citizens from their Revolution and their beliefs. As they reject shamelessly yet another girl who wanted to assist in their meeting, the last straw for the woman dressed as a man snaps.
And they are all in for a surprising quest between reality, prejudices and ideals.

Grantaire is an oddity, a mystery that lets the Amis confused and wondering, and mostly curious. Very curious.
Up to the point where, slowly, they open the Pandora box; and they definitely wish they had not. But once you’ve done something, you can’t really go back in time to erase it. So you struggle, and you learn.
But in the end, it’s worth it.

If Enjolras was being complety honest, it was a bit strange. Endearing for sure, although still strange.
But, hey, if sex with Grantaire always ended up that way, he would not be one to complain.
