Tim can feel Batman’s glare through his cowl as he comes closer.
“Thought you were patrolling on the north side,” Tim says. Confident. He didn’t do anything wrong. He breathes in and out slowly, trying to calm the racing of his heart.
Batman stares down at him, and he fights the urge to tremble.
“What the hell was that?”
Ah. Okay. Batman is not angry. Batman is furious.
“I saw someone I know, and figured I’d say hello before continuing on patrol-”
“I could gather that much myself, thanks,” Batman snaps. “Tim, what were you thinking?”
