Or, George is in need of a hug, and Dream is there for him.“Whatever,” George rolls his eyes lightheartedly, and before he can process it, he’s asking, “Can I get a hug?”
The moment the words leave his lips, George is recoiling with embarrassment, humiliation washing over him like a wave. He stutters over his words, apologizing profusely as Dream stares up at him with amusement in his eyes. Their palms part as George pulls away.
“I’m sorry,” George covers his face once his hands are empty, pressing his palms into his eyes. “I’m so, so sorry, that’s so weird—“
“—Calm down, Georgie,” Dream chuckles lightly, and George can hear the chair squeak quietly as the dirty blond stands up. “You don’t have to ask me for a hug. Just- just do it, I guess.”
