Matthew Murdock sometimes made bad calls.
That includes not telling his girlfriend he's going on a dangerous excursion into a crime boss's headquarters to take him down alone. It didn't help that his girlfriend was a mutant that had exceptional healing powers and regularly went with him on missions to keep him safe and less bloodied.
He'll need to make it up to her for leaving her a worried bundle of nerves in their apartment, waiting for his return. She'll try not to make it easy for him.

Sometimes Clint Barton felt hopeless and closed himself off from the world. Most times that happened because of mentioning Loki or the Chitauri. I try to help him feel better when that happens but nothing but Nat works.
After a particularly bad mission, I figured I should try something different to get Clint to unwind and hopefully, relax.

I never thought much about the words on my body. I preferred to stick to my work. So, while working at the Avenger's Tower, I never expected to find my soulmates, especially after seeing them beat up as badly as they were. Life's funny that way.
Some of the room turned back towards the drink table, about forty feet to your left, accompanied by soft and polite laughter as Tony Stark, indeed standing by the drink table, raised a glass towards the stage with a charming close-lipped smile. He lowered the glass as the room again returned their attention to the stage, but you found yourself still looking, having never seen the famous Iron Man in person before. As he was sipping from his glass, he seemed to feel your eyes on him and his gaze flicked to the side, finding yours, and his close-lipped smile spread a bit, revealing sparkling white teeth. He raised an eyebrow and his glass softly towards you.
You returned the smile, yours much smaller and reserved, raised your glass an inch or two to him, and then took a sip while holding your gaze on him. As you lowered the glass you looked away, his smile now a curious grin.
